Agents’ golf day raises £5,500 for good causes

A total of 13 teams took part in the Agents Giving golf event, raising a total of £5,500.

Held at De Vere Wychwood Park, Cheshire, the winning team was Atlas Displays, a shopfitting firm, while Karl Tatler won the prize for the longest drive, and Mark Montgomery, of myhomemove, bagged the prize for the worst drive.

The irrepressible Simon Whale, of Reapit, won the prize for being the best dressed competitor. Not being rude, Simon, but were there any women on the judging panel?

As well as the tournament, there was a charity dinner and evening auction.

David Newnes, director of Agents Giving, said: “We would like to extend our thanks to our partners for the event, Ravensworth and Platinum HD TV, who also sponsored the event alongside Rayner Personnel, Hunters and Property Academy.

“This event would also not have been possible without the commitment of those teams that gave up their time to take part in this fun-packed day of fundraising.”

Another golf day is planned to take place at the Donnington Valley Golf Club near Newbury. Contact info@agentsgiving.org to reserve a spot for your team.

Competitors should observe an essential health and safety requirement if they discover that Simon Whale, below, will be taking part: dark glasses!
