OpenRent.co.uk would have us believe that they save the average landlord £3,118 in fees.   There doesn’t seem to be any evidence backing this up on their website.

I can’t believe that they are saving this on average across the country, especially for marketing only!

Anyone have more insight into this? Feel like it needs reporting to Advertising Standards Agency.

    Thanks,

    Done PeeBee.

Also about a second claim in their promotional video that “your advert will be seen by literally millions of people”.  Just because they stick it onto the online portals that receive millions of views doesn’t mean every advert receives millions of views.

From my experience, from a sales side of things anyway, properties receive max a few thousand views before going.

Open Rent should be a bit more Open about where their stats come from!

People should remember the old adage drummed into us to stay on ‘the right side’ of PMA legislation – as it is 100% relevant to pretty much everything we, as Agents, should abide by:

If in doubt… LEAVE IT OUT!
