Agent opens for business as normal just hours after car crashes through window

A car crashed through the window of an estate agent shortly before it opened for business.

The accident, which involved another vehicle, happened just before 7am on Monday.

The agent, iMove in Crystal Palace, London, had its window boarded up but put up a notice saying: “Whoops, that was unexpected but we are open as usual.”

Owner George Selmes told EYE: “It was a huge shock to get the call on Monday morning but we are just pleased everyone involved was OK.

“The office will soon be back to looking its best.

“We have been overwhelmed by the kind support and concern from our neighbours and customers.”

An object lesson in how not to turn a drama into a crisis.
