It’s just (role) play: Where children can pretend to be estate agents

Hamptons has confirmed it is now at KidZania, an ‘educational entertainment establishment’ where children can play-act anything from dental nurses to policemen, and bank managers to pilots – and now, apparently,  estate agents.

Kidzania is at giant shopping centre Westfield in Shepherds Bush, London.

It is a pretend city offering 4 to 14-year-olds more than 60 role-play adventures, and which pays its young participants for their ‘work’ in a currency called KidZos.

The venture does, of course, employ plenty of real people doing real jobs, including the important task of street cleaning in the pretend city, which aims to help children understand how commerce, jobs and money work in the real world.

Details on Hamptons’ involvement are due later this week.
