Landlord Fergus Wilson says untrue that he evicted four single mothers

High-profile landlord Fergus Wilson has told EYE that it is completely untrue that he has evicted four single mothers with young babies because he could not guarantee meeting a local council’s requirement that a broken boiler would have to be mended within four days in properties with young children.

Wilson said that he evicted no one, and that the situation had been purely hypothetical. He had been concerned about the availability of gas safety engineers.

Wilson also said that he had never tried to ban certain tenants because of the ‘curry’ smell they left behind.

Wilson said that while he had made a joking reference to curry, this was while a pet-stained carpet was being removed before new tenants arrived.

    If everyone believed what they read in the Press there’d be no need for Fairly tales.

    Shame the Press didn’t lay off the guy just because they think his name makes a good story,  and focus on ;

    The policies government are responsible for that is raising rents for tenants, –  Sec 24 Tax increases,  Licensing fees. – Not to mention the hundreds of thousand homes that’s going to be lost in the Minimum HMO room size debacle.

    Don’t hear the Press reporting on that !
