Estate agent wins first pageant for men

An estate agent has won the title of Mr Hampshire – the first time the competition has been run.

He is Mark Young, 21, who will now compete for a national title.

When Eye ran a story before, we reported that Mark, of New Milton, was the competition’s only entrant.

However, we are now pleased to report that Mark did have competition – which he successfully saw off.

Organiser Paula Langley described him as “the perfect gentleman”.

We’re not totally convinced it was his lovely manners that won the judges over.

Having only just recovered from Sunday night’s Poldark (actually, we’re still feeling a bit weak), we think he could give Ross a run for his money when it comes to smouldering.

The Southern Daily Echo has photos of the contestants here
