Picture of the Week: Our worthy runner up

Oh dear me.

The perils of not proof-reading your adverts.

Here is a charming property listed by Tepilo.

But, strangely, it appears you have to book your viewings through Purplebricks.

The mystery deepens. The property is also listed by Purplebricks, and the details look very similar.

Do you suppose the vendor has paid two lots of online agent fees upfront?

I would suggest this proves, for once and for all, that these call-centre Agents simply post up whatever a vendor gives them – or, even worse – allows them to upload it themselves.

    WHEN will action be taken?

Mustn’t rule out the possibility that Tepilo and Purple Bricks have a joint sole agency and are sharing the big fat fee??

Priceless.  With that lack of attention to detail I’m sure that vendor is going to get a rude awaking when this boys come knocking for their money in 6 months.

i can hear the conversation to the call centre agent.

” but you said no sale, no fee”

” sorry Mr Lacko-Attention, we said No upfront fess,  that means you still pay us no matter who’s advert is who’s”

” I’m going to speak with my local expert”

” I’m sorry they are 53 miles away at the moment and we need to sort this invoice out”

” but I only sold my house when I reduced the price 2 days ago it and it hasn’t completed yet”

” that’s great news.  I’m glad we where of help.  Now how will you be paying today”
