Recruitment specialist signs up former estate agents as new franchisees

Property recruitment firm Rayner Personnel has signed up two more franchisees.

Its east London franchise has been taken up by Simon and Carrie Scott, who were previously minority co-owners, from 2006,  of Jacksons in south-west London, having worked at the firm since 1999.

Between 2006 and 2016, Carrie was sales director and Simon was lettings director of the firm, now part of Dexters.

The couple’s franchise territory covers all east London postcodes, including Canary Wharf and the City.

The second franchise territory is the midlands, which has gone to former Countrywide area manager Nick Marlow and co-owner Sarah Saunders.

Their patch includes Coventry and Birmingham.

Marlow said: “One of my greatest rewards as a manager has been to offer a new employee a career in an industry that they aspire to join and to develop a staff members career progression. As a franchisee within Rayner Personnel, I relish the opportunity to be able to do this every day.”

Joshua Rayner, MD of Rayner Personnel, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Simon and Carrie, and Nick on board as franchisees and are sure they will all be highly successful.

“With their proven track records in estate agency, they will hit the ground running.”

Both new offices will officially open their doors on Tuesday (May 2).
