ZPG boss Alex Chesterman to judge start-up companies in competition previously won by Purplebricks

ZPG founder and chief executive Alex Chesterman is to be one of this year’s judges of the Startups Awards.

Now in its 15th year, previous winners have included Purplebricks and the Cambridge Satchel Company.

The awards are open to privately-owned UK businesses launched between August 1, 2014, and July 31, 2017.

Entrants must have excellent potential and this will be judged on factors such as client wins, revenue growth and profitability.

Chesterman, who has himself often been recognised for his entrepreneurship, joins co-judges including Justine Roberts, founder of Mumsnet, and Nick Wheeler, founder of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts.
