Zoopla signs up four major estate agencies including Foxtons and Yopa to new long-term agreements

Four major estate agencies — Andrews, Dexters, Foxtons and Yopa — have signed up to new agreements with ZPG, each of which lasts several years.

ZPG, which offers property platforms including Zoopla, PrimeLocation, Property Software Group and Hometrack, has also reached agreements with several smaller agencies.

The company declined to reveal precisely how long the agreements would last but said that they would be “multi-year” deals in each case.

As part of the deals, the agents – with some 200 branches between them –  will continue to advertise all of their property listings across the ZPG platform. They include 67  Foxtons branches and 70 Dexters branches in London, as well as 60 Andrews offices in the south of England, as well as listings from online agent Yopa.

Mark Goddard, managing director of ZPG Property Services, said: “We’re delighted to extend our relationships with each of these firms for the long term.

“We continue to see a growing number of agencies around the country looking to establish long-term relationships with us to ensure that they benefit from the best value and most effective marketing, software and data solutions in the UK.”

ZPG’s announcement comes ahead of rival portal OnTheMarket’s long-awaited stock market flotation.

Zoopla has already announced other long-term deals including with Countrywide, LSL and Connells.

OnTheMarket, which has been silent lately about the proposed launch on AIM, has recently signed up agencies conditional on the flotation. They include Hunters, Arun Estates and Chancellors Group.
