Allsop appoints its sixth senior partner in 110 years

Auctioneering and property firm Allsop has announced that Scott Tyler is to become senior partner.

He will become only the sixth senior partner in the firm’s 110-year history.

Tyler, 47, will succeed Neil Mackilligin who is set to stand down as a partner next March.

Mackilligin will retire after over 35 years as an auction specialist and being at the helm of the leading auctioneers in the UK.

Tyler, who is currently managing partner of the commercial side of the business, has spent eight years at Allsop after a 17-year stint at Savills.
