As big day dawns, here’s how one estate agent is playing ball

We don’t seem to have done much in the way of World Cup coverage – although be assured that EYE has been watching each game from behind the back of the sofa.

However, in the spirit of hope and encouragement, you might just like to play this – found on York agent RM English’s Facebook page.

Now all you need do is get your lucky waistcoats out.

R M English started Welbeck in 1884 when they Kane to Pocklington and have Lingard ever since, selling homes to both Young Arnold. If you are fed up of dealing with Dier agents then Pickford an agent like us and we will turn your home into Sterling.

We also rather liked this, spotted on the Bairstow Eves window, in Archway, London.

Do let us know what you are/will be doing to get near that goal.

I really wanted to like the first one but the ellipsis has 4 points to it, not 3… and “Footballs” [sic] doesn’t have an apostrophe.

Ah, sod it. COME ON ENGLAND.
