Chancellors announces new name above the door for agencies in group

Agents Anscombe & Ringland in London, and Russell, Baldwin & Bright in Hereford and Wales, are to rebrand to Chancellors.

Both are already a part of the Chancellors Group.

The aim is to unite the Chancellors Group under one brand.

Robert Scott-Lee, group managing director, said: “At Chancellors, Anscombe & Ringland and Russell, Baldwin & Bright have been one company under independent private ownership since 1996.

“This will continue to be the case, but as a unified brand under the Chancellors umbrella we believe we will be able to provide bigger and better resource to our branches in order that they can further enhance their offering to the local communities in which they trade.”

The rebrand starts this week.

Oh dear – there could be trouble ahead!. If it aint broke don’t mend it. Trading for so long those local names are known, very well known and now they will disappear. Look at history, in particular the 1980’s.

This is better news for the staff in RBB as they were excluded from the last rebrand completely suggesting that Chancellors werent sure if they were going to keep them.

It makes a lot of sense to bring everything under one brand, Chancellors system meant that everyone was working the same way (literally) and there will be savings in printing costs etc
