He won’t be in a rush, though – will he?

“He didn’t seem like the usual estate agent, he was very cocky and aggressive and confident…  He gave me his card, which I lost, but remembered his name so I typed it in online.”

So – either the owner liked the “cocky, aggressive” approach and wanted to instruct the Agent, or…

    …or what?

“We try very hard to vet all prospective employees…”

    Very? Hard?

It took me no more than 10 seconds to open a tab, submit a search on Google for ‘Kane Oye’, and then open Berkhamsted & Tring Gazette’s report that helpfully includes a police photograph of Mr Oye.

However, I find it disappointing that this chap is being named and shamed, preventing him from getting his life back on the right track. He has served his time and is not committing a crime by being “cocky and aggressive and confident” – I could describe a lot of estate agents the same way.

Well said. He has indeed served his time. Whilst I can understand that it takes a brave employer to give a past offender a chance to earn an honest living, what do we as a society expect of that individual if no-one will give him the break? Unfortunately desperate people do desperate things and without a job it is only too easy to imagine what path that person might go down.

I think its disgraceful this man is unable To get on with his life and being dragged all over the press. It’s like people want him to turn back to crime instead of giving him a second chance this is exactly what’s wrong with today’s society
