Here’s how to put together property particulars without a computer (and you still can!)

Property details have come a long way, thanks to computers.

Somehow, though, they were still put together before technology took over. In fact, they were remarkably like child’s play.

Sawyers Estate Agents has unearthed a Stensign from its storage that they think could date back to the pre-war era or the 1950s.

The copper plate and fonts were used to make property listings by hand – and as this clever and beguiling video shows, using stencil technology still makes it perfectly possible. We love the nail polish!
