Ex-Connells boss moves over to head up division at Spicerhaart

Spicerhaart has appointed Tim Wardley as the new managing director of its Land and New Homes division.

The highly regarded Wardley joins from Connells, where he was a divisional managing director. He had been with the company over 30 years.

Spicerhaart chief executive Paul Smith said: “We have ambitious growth objectives that will involve significant investment in our land and new homes capability and feel sure that Tim’s expertise will help us to achieve them.”

His appointment comes on the back of Spicerhaart’s investment in the new social media technology called Flink which targets people via channels such as Facebook and Instagram and shows them property most suited to their needs, even if they weren’t actively looking.

Spicerhaart says this has been shown to work really well with new homes and said that it adds value to Spicerhaart’s offering to developers compared to their competitors.
