New ‘concierge’ service launching in New Year will pay introduction fees to agents

A concierge service that is due to launch in the New Year will pay agents referral fees.

The Property Innovation Network has released no precise details of its offering but claims it will save city dwellers and workers £1,000 a year, while generating income for agents.

Aimed at tenants, owner-occupiers, developers and landlords in both residential and commercial sectors, PIN has recruited two advisers to its team.

They are online agent entrepreneurs Adam Day, who founded Hatched and until recently was with Emoov, and Graham Lock, who co-founded House Network.

Day said: “This is a product that can not only add revenue, but will also save time and hassle as well.”

Lock said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team. The rental market is facing some significant challenges including the impending tenant fee ban.

“PIN’s innovative concierge packages will not only help to bridge the lost revenue gap but will also increase service levels. It’s a win-win for all.”

The team is led by CEO Christopher Moon who said: “We’ve created an ecosystem driven by slick tech and supported by insurance protection, which seeks to optimise the entire live/work experience.”

The launch is due to be on January 8, and EYE understands that the concierge service is intended to be just the first of PIN’s offerings.

Might as well be the man in the moon if he thinks this is going to save City dwellers a thousand pounds a year. More prop-tech rubbish that no-one either wants or needs.

Just out of interest, Your comment about “More prop-tech rubbish that no-one either wants or needs” is that referring to agents or consumers?

          Interesting GeorgeHammond78!

My opinion would be the number of instructions going to the online agents alone is a pretty good indicator that there is a demand/want for “more rubbish prop-tech” from the consumer?

          Have a good weekend.

The kind of proptech that means clients don’t have to come in to provide ID, the kind that allows feedback to be taken and given without needless telephone tennis the next morning with buyers and sellers, the kind that reduces agents time doing admin and lets them focus on selling houses the list goes on. Online agents have 2 distinct advantages over us on the high street and neither are price. Firstly it’s tech and secondly it’s brand what you see with emoov is great tech without money for the brand doesn’t work. What you see with Yopa is brand without great tech is also very hard. PB have decent enough tech and a strong brand and the number of listings by PB agents proves this. You will most likely disagree but the fact the debate rages on and customers are increasingly trying online agents says it all. If you sincerely want to see how our solution can help keep online agents out of your area get in touch.
