It’s all kicking off: one fifth of estate agents – 20% – are revealed to be Arsenal fans, despite the club not having won the Premier League for over a decade.
Research gathered from over 50,000 staff profiles from reviews swebsite allAgents shows the next most popular club is Manchester United (15%), followed by Tottenham Hotspur (13%), Liverpool (11%) and Chelsea (10%).
Football is by far the most popular sport among agents (for 56%), and bowls is the least popular, with just 0.5% of estate agents ranking it number one.
allAgents’ Martin McKenzie, an ardent Aberdeen fan, said: “Estate agents are clearly gluttons for punishment, with so many supporting Arsenal.”
Mr EYE, who supports Leicester, is saddened. But then he would be anyway.
We also wondered about tennis, our own favourite sport, but apparently it is not exactly ace among agents.
As for curling (aka, hoovering on ice) we were told it hadn’t made the cut.
Now at valuations it wont be ‘what associations are you are members of’, it will be ‘what football team do you support?’
