Reapit acquires the means for agents to list properties on the spot even where there is no internet

Software business Reapit has bought a business which allows agents to list properties on the spot, even if the homes they are in do not have an internet connection.

Pocket Size Media produces Pocket Net, a tool that helps agents give comprehensive iPad presentations and list properties, without the need for an internet connection.

The acquired company will continue to operate as a separate business but the team will relocate to Reapit’s headquarters in Solihull, to work closely with Reapit’s own development team.

The Pocket Neg solution will work in unity with Reapit’s own RPS Mobile.

Gary Barker, CEO of Reapit, said: “With various disruptive forces challenging the traditional estate agency model, we feel it is important that our clients are not hindered by technology in adapting their own businesses.”

The co-founders of Pocket Size Media are Dave Bartlett and Paul Neale, who said: “A reliable mobile internet connection in the homes of potential vendors and landlords is still far from guaranteed, even in modern urban areas.

“We give agents the digital tools to enhance their listings presentation without the risk of failure or delay.”

The acquisition was for an undisclosed price.
