Two complaints against agents informally resolved by advertising watchdog

Two complaints to the advertising watchdog about agents have been informally resolved.

One complaint was about Mundy’s Property Services which featured two claims on its website about customer survey satisfaction ratings.

Mundy’s agreed to remove the claims and said it would not make similar claims again.

The other complaint was about a property listing on Rightmove and the Reeds Rains website.

The complainant challenged whether the advertised monthly rent was misleading as it was unclear whether an advertised discount was already applied.

Reeds Rains told the Advertising Standards Authority that this was an isolated event and removed the advert.

Ah, informally.  The feeling you get when you’ve got away with it!
